“Kids need to be careful of who they’re getting advice from. They’re choosing programs where they sit for two years and add no value to themselves. I recruit for who can help us now but maintain relationships for two years out. I see 80% of the top players will jump in the portal in two years. Then I will go into the portal to replace them. I have no problem helping a kid get to where he needs to be. They should also be contacting coaches, posting on Twitter and attending camps"

Look at rosters and coaches to see who and where they're recruiting. We want guys who we’re excited to coach and they’re excited to be coached by us. Be realistic about your college choices.
